ESL Class

Those wanting to improve their skills in written and spoken English are able to do so through ESL (English as a Second Language) classes taking place at the Smiths Falls Public Library.

Through a partnership between the Town of Smiths Falls and TR Leger School of Adult, Alternative & Continuing Education, of the Upper Canada District School Board, classes are being held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the library. All classes are free and funded through the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration.

The hours for the classes are flexible if anyone has to leave early because of work commitments or arrive a little later because of children getting off to school.

Further information on the classes is available by contacting Daphne Lane, Manager of Literacy and Language Services for TR Leger, at daphne.lane@ucdsb.on.ca or instructor Julie Case at julia.case@ucdsb.on.ca.
