For the past 116 years, Willis College has been involved internationally.  Willis has formed a partnership with a Chinese college and universities to develop and deliver joint venture educational programs that are fully recognized by Canada and China.  The college is also working to develop and deliver similar programs with several countries in the Middle East, as well as former Eastern Bloc countries such as Romania.

As well, Willis College provides educational services to foreign students at its Ontario campuses in Smiths Falls and Ottawa.  Should foreign students lack English language proficiency, Willis has an excellent working relationship with a national leader in ESL studies.

Upper Canada District School Board

The Upper Canada District School Board has an International Education Program that sees students from around the globe coming to study in Eastern Ontario, including Smiths Falls.  Most of the students reside with local host families.  Most attend school at Smiths Falls District Collegiate Institute; however, on occasion, younger students attend elementary schools.  The program provides extra English language supports, both in and after school.  Foreign students often like to participate in local activities and events.  We anticipate the program to grow and are always looking for great host families!  The program covers the expenses of room and board with the host family.  We are also hosting some short term students that may want to experience life in Eastern Ontario from two to six weeks.  For further information, please contact:
