The Local Immigration Partnership Project seeks community input

The Local Immigration Partnership Council (LIPC) wants to hear from the community.
During the first phase of the Local Immigration Partnership (LIP) project, which is to be completed by March 31st, 2012, LIPC members will develop a local settlement strategy and a corresponding implementation plan.  Consultations will take place with newcomers, employers, service providers and others in the community as part of that work.
These consultations are planned for October and will primarily take the form of focus groups, key informant interviews and surveys.
